
LCSW Clinical Supervision in Texas
Moon Counseling provides structured, supportive clinical supervision for LMSWs working toward independent licensure in Texas. Led by Aaron Moon, LCSW-S, our supervision focuses on real-world clinical skills, ethical practice, and sustainable careers in mental health.
Texas BHEC Licensure Requirements
To become an LCSW in Texas, the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) requires:
- 3,000 total hours of supervised clinical experience.
- A minimum of 104 weeks (24 months) of supervised practice — this process cannot be rushed.
- 100 hours of board-approved clinical supervision, which may include a mix of individual and group supervision.
- A maximum of 10 supervision hours may be counted per month toward your total.
Supervision Formats & Pricing
We offer flexible supervision options for LMSWs across Texas:
- Individual Supervision: $100 per hour.
- Group Supervision (2–6 members): $50 per hour.
Supervision is available via secure virtual telehealth across Texas, with limited in-person options in Killeen.
